This version is simple and fun—classic gulab jamun with a chocolate surprise inside!

Ingredients

For syrup

1½ cup sugar
1 cup water
3–4 cardamom pods
Few drops rose water

For dough

1 cup milk powder
¼ cup maida (plain flour)
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp ghee
2–3 tbsp milk

For stuffing (special twist!)

Small chocolate cubes (Dairy Milk or any)
Steps (Very Easy!)

Step 1: Make syrup

Heat sugar + water + cardamom
Stir till sugar melts
Cook 5–7 minutes, then add rose water
Keep warm (not too hot)

Step 2: Make dough

Mix milk powder, flour, baking powder
Add ghee and mix
Add milk slowly → make soft dough
Don’t overmix

Step 3: Shape balls

Take small dough
Put 1 chocolate cube inside
Close gently and roll smooth (no cracks)

Step 4: Fry

Heat oil/ghee on low flame
Fry slowly till golden brown
Keep turning for even color

Step 5: Soak

Put hot jamuns in warm syrup
Let soak 2–3 hours
Serve & Enjoy

Serve warm… and when someone takes a bite—surprise!
Soft outside, melty chocolate inside = double happiness.
