BEEF STIFADO

Return of a favorite recipe, I made this for lasts nights meal …… farm life ❤️

Components

* 800grams – 1kg of lean beef cubed
* 500 grams of shallots
* 1 giant Onion
* 2 tomatoes
* Garlic Cloves (to style) I used Four cloves
* Cloves 3-4
* vegatable inventory dice
* small wine glass of additional virgin olive oil
* Glass of Pink Wine
* 2 tbsp of purple wine vinegar
* 2 tbsp of tomato puree/paste
* 1/2 cinnamon stick
* Three sprigs of rosemary
* 1/2 – 1 tsp of floor nutmeg
* Four bay leaves
* black pepper
* salt

Methodology

1. put meat in a frying pan and sear the meat then add the olive oil, onions and garlic depart till onions begin to go delicate (about 5 minutes)
2. Then add the glass of purple wine and a pair of tablespoons of purple wine vinegar, cowl and depart for five minutes
3. then add your cinnamon, inventory dice, cloves, nutmeg, bay leaves, rosemary, tomato puree and salt and pepper to style. maintain stirring to let all of your elements combine collectively.
4. then lastly add your chopped tomatoes and proceed stirring for five minutes,

6. while cooking place your 500 grams of shallots into sizzling water to melt the pores and skin and peel, then fry these in just a little olive oil, watch out to not burn them, simply intention to melt them and add just a little color, add these to Stifado after one hour of cooking within the oven after which add them to the pot and prepare dinner for an additional 1 hour till the meat is tender.
